NYCxDESIGN Award Winner Art Installation Amanda Russo Rubman
'One.' Layers of ethereal light, transparent and reflective. Lucite and stainless steel modular sculpture. 
'One' is a modular sculpture intended to be reimagined as a site specific installation. Delicately balanced, each individual form is held by tension. An undeniable overpowering soft feminine beauty that shifts in color, depth, reflection, radiance and angular shadows in light and yet there remains an underlying subtle danger. The entire piece is created like a stacked deck of cards, patience, hope and imagination. 

Created in 2024 and reimagined in five locations: AR Studio NY, Inness, Artport Kingston, Artyard and Kingston Design Showhouse.
